I love the uniqueness of vinyl and this one is so much fun! Designed with a vinyl "bowl" it allows you to add any 3d type of gravel inside you would like (glitter, sequence, small pearls...) all in the hoop! The vinyl can be washed... I made the shirt for my nieces and her mom washes it in the machine and dryer - just turns it inside out and it comes out great even after many washings. The download comes with  a guide to help follow along step-by step instructions for when to add the vinyl and fill, but since the machine is doing all the work, it is not really any harder than a regular applique! I purchased my vinyl from Walmart. They color code the thickness and I used "black". I cannot say that it is the best as it is the only thickness I have used, but I can say it worked great!
